Last weekend, Bryce, Allison and Bryson hiked to Red Castle in the High Uintah's. It was amazing! The hike was hard 12 miles up, about 8 counting the hikes to the lake and back and then 12 back down. Wow! 32 miles! It was an amazing experience. We are so glad to have shared it with Tiff and Gregg and Gregg's family and friends! Thanks for letting us go! As a side note, Bryson was the first one down, and got too excited, started running when he saw the parking lot, his foot slipped off a log and he broke it! Of course we didn't know for two days that it was broken. We thought his arches were hurting, and later, when he couldn't walk, that maybe he sprained his ankle. Nope, broken. It is even a really hard bone to break. Leave it to one of my kids to do it! He is doing better, in a boot, and hobbling around. Oh well, still a fun trip and very worth it!

Okay now you need to read the book "return to red castle". Those pictures are so amazing! I am not a camper, but even I would camp there:)
I am so glad you came with us to Red Castle. Now you are invited every year! I had so much fun laughing with you guys! Maybe next year we can get the Bell family to join us.
